The Spirit
We open one door at a time. When plans shift, we bend without breaking trust. Refunds are handled by hand, not algorithm, and always with the villa key still warm.

Deposits
Every booking begins with a non-refundable deposit of thirty percent. This reserves the exact villa, blocks the chef’s calendar, and keeps the boat fueled. It is the handshake that turns a dream into a date.

Full Payment
The remaining seventy percent is due sixty days before arrival. Once paid, the retreat is locked for you alone. If you arrive and the sea is rougher than promised or the chef forgets the salt, we fix it on the spot or return every penny.

Cancellation by You
Cancel more than sixty days out and we return everything except the deposit. Between sixty and thirty days, we keep fifty percent of the total; the villa stays empty, the staff still paid. Inside thirty days the full amount stays with us, yet we hunt for a replacement guest. If someone else takes your dates, we refund everything minus the deposit and a small handling fee.

Cancellation by Us
Rare, but weather, border closures, or a sudden volcano tantrum can shut a door. In such cases we return one hundred percent, no questions, and cover any rebooking fees on a comparable escape within twelve months if you wish.

Travel Insurance
We urge every guest to wrap the trip in insurance the moment the deposit clears. Lost luggage, sudden fever, or a family emergency are outside our reach; a good policy turns panic into paperwork.

Force Majeure
Earthquakes, pandemics, wars, or acts of gods we cannot pronounce release both sides from obligation. We refund what we can, keep what is already spent on your behalf, and offer a rain check for calmer skies.

Changes to Dates
Shift the trip once, free of charge, if the new dates are within the same calendar year and the villa is free. Second move or jumps across years treat the original booking as cancelled and a fresh deposit starts the clock.

Non-Refundable Extras
Flights, insurance premiums, or personal shopping in local markets remain your responsibility. We refund only what lives under our roof.

How to Cancel
One email or phone call starts the process. We acknowledge within twenty-four hours, calculate within forty-eight, and return funds the same way they arrived, usually inside five business days.

Disputes
If numbers feel off, talk to us first. We fix mistakes faster than lawyers draft letters. Any formal claim falls under Hawaii law, settled in Honolulu courts.
